ADDIS ABEBA – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s book on MEDEMER (synergy) has been simultaneously launched in 30 cities nationwideon Saturday .
The book launch in Addis Ababa has been held at the Millennium Hall in the presence of over 8000 Ethiopians from all parts of the country and senior government officials, including the writer.
The 280-page book examines and outlines the economic, political and foreign policy directions of Ethiopia, said the Prime minister office.
The idea of MEDEMER believes in scaling up best practices, rectifying past mistakes, and creating a better future, the PM told the gatherers.
A million copies of the book – prepared in Amharic, Afan Oromo, and English languages – have been printed and it is being sold for a price of 300 birr.
The income generated from the sale of the book will be used to expand access to education in the rural parts of the country.
