Ethiopia’s PM Gets 2019 Tourism Award

ADDIS ABABA – The World Tourism Forum on Monday presented the 2019 Tourism Award to Ethiopian prime minister Abiy Ahmed for his commitment to promoting tourism.

The Forum’s President Bulut Bağcı and his delegation were in Addis Ababa on Monday to present the award to PM Abiy at the national palace for his work to promote the sector.

During the occasion, the prime minister office said the agreement confirming Ethiopia as host to the 2020 World Tourism Forum was also shared.

The delegation were given a tour of the National Palace restoration work and confirmed their continued support and commitment to Ethiopia’s tourism sector, the PM office said in a statement.
