Ovid Group Marks Progress on Awar CSR Project

ADDIS ABABA – Ovid Group marked a significant progress at the Awar CSR Round 4 project with an employee appreciation event.

The project, commissioned by the Prime Minister’s Office, is being executed by Ovid Construction, a subsidiary of Ovid Group.

The Awar Corporate social responsibility (CSR ) Round 4 project involves the construction of five blocks, each comprising B+G+11 floors.

These blocks will include 22 units with one and two bedrooms, 11 units with 3 bedrooms, 51 ground-floor shops and a basement for communal services such as a laundry, traditional kitchen, and storage.

Each block will cover an area of 364 square meters and will be enhanced with landscape and greenery work.

Held at the Abuare CSR project site on June 8, the celebration involved a lunch event that brought together approximately 700 site and head office employees.

This event marked the significant achievement of completing approximately 70% of the project within just two months.

Ovid celebrated the milestone with a view to encourage the team to maintain the momentum and complete the construction on time. The project submission date is set for August 10.
