Ethiopian Airlines is set to increase its flight frequency between Addis Ababa and Toronto city to daily starting from April 01, 2024.
The national carrier currently operates five weekly direct flights serving the Canadian City.
Today, Ethiopian said, “we are delighted to announce that we will increase our flight frequencies to/from Toronto to daily,” as of April 01, 2024.
The announcement comes a few weeks after two countries reached an agreement over expanding flight frequency.
Apart from Toronto, Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Canada Fitsum Arega said fortnights ago that the airline “is eager to expand its superb services to more Canadian cities”.
Ethiopian made its inaugural flight to Toronto’s Pearson International Airport on July 17, 2012, making it the first direct service connection between Canada and Africa.
Currently, the Airline serves more than 150 passenger and cargo destinations across five continents.
