MoFA: Ethiopia Thwarts Al-Shabaab’s Attack at border town of Dollo

ADDIS ABABA – The national defense force has today thwarted an attack by Al-Shabaab terror group at the Ethiopia-Somalia border town of Dollo, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

“Ethiopia earlier today successfully foiled an attempted attack by the terrorist group Al Shabaab at the Ethiopia-Somalia border town of Dollo,” MoFA said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to MoFA, the Ethiopian National Defence Forces (ENDF) stopped the attackers in their tracks before they could wreak havoc.

“The ENDF neutralised suicide bombers and destroyed weapons to be used by the terrorist group,” the statement read.
