Atlanta City Mayor meets Ethiopian Airlines CEO ahead of inaugural flight
ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopian Airlines officials have welcomed the visiting U.S. delegation led by Mayor of Atlanta Andre Dickens ahead of its scheduled new flight service between Atlanta and Addis Ababa.
Mayor Dickens and his delegation visited Ethiopian Airlines group state-of-the-art facilities on Monday.
They held “fruitful discussions” with Group CEO Mesfin Tasew and other executives on various issues, according to the airlines.
The visit comes five months after Ethiopian Airlines announced that it would commence a new flight service between Addis Ababa and Atlanta.
Ethiopian will operate a four times weekly flight to Atlanta (ATL) as of May 16, 2023.
Atlanta will be Ethiopian Airlines’ 5th passenger destination in the U.S. following Chicago, Newark, New York, and Washington.
