Diaspora Group Donates Medical Supplies worth $8.2mln to MoH
ADDIS ABABA – The Global Ethiopian Diaspora Action Group has donated over medical supplies valued at 8.2 million US dollars to the Ministry of Health.
The group delivered the supplies to Ethiopia in collaboration with SNS Global Pharma, Ethiopian airlines and TBH Business Solutions.
On Thursday, its Chairman Endalkachew Zewdie handed over the supplies to Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadesse.
“My sincere thanks to the Global Ethiopian Diaspora Action Group for the donation of medical supplies,” Dr. Lia said after receiving the supplies.
The minister noted that the medical supplies will help “strengthen our health system and healthcare delivery.”
The Group, based in Virginia, USA, has been providing various support for health institutions in Ethiopia since its establishment in March 2022.
