Ethiopia’s New Ambassador to Egypt Takes Office
ADDIS ABABA – Hassan Ibrahim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Egypt, has officially taken office this week.
Ambassador Hassan on Wednesday delivered a copy of his credential letters to the Chief of Protocol Affairs of Egypt’s Foreign Ministry.
While presenting his credentials, Hassen pledged to boost the bilateral relationship between the two countries taking their historical relationship into account, says the ministry of foreign affairs’ statement issued today.
The Ambassador also spoke about his plan to renew suspended support services to Ethiopians who reside in countries covered by the Ethiopian mission in Cairo.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry Chief of Protocol expressed best wishes for Ambassador Hassan, pledging to support him during his stay in Egypt.
