ADDIS ABABA – The Republic of Croatia reveals its plan to open an embassy in Addis Ababa, according to Ethiopia’s ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
The plan was revealed during a discussion between Ambassador Demitu Hambisa and Petar Mihatov, Political Affairs Director General at Foreign Ministry of Croatia on Friday.
“The two sides discussed areas of cooperation to further cement the longstanding relationship between the two countries,” said MoFA.
Earlier this week, Ambassador Demitu presented her letter of credence to Zoran Milanovic, President of Croatia in Zagreb.
On the occasion, Ambassador Demitu, who is also Ethiopia’s envoy in Rome, exchanged views with the President Milanovic “regarding the longstanding relationship between the two sisterly countries”.
