#BuyEthiopian Exhibition and Bazaar Opens in Addis Ababa

ADDIS ABABA – Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, Jantirar Abay has launched #BuyEthiopian Exhibition and Bazaar at Mechare Meda open space in the capital.

The event is organized by the City’s Labor Enterprise & Industry Development Bureau in collaboration with local manufacturing enterprises.

The Exhibition and Bazaar is expected to give access to the Diaspora who have come home in line with the ‘Great Ethiopian Homecoming’ Challenge to buy local products and promote them to the rest of the world.

Around 128 enterprises are displaying their products including leather products and traditional outfits at the Exhibition and Bazaar which will run till January 24, 2022.

The capital has been hosting similar #BuyEthiopian exhibitions involving a total of 1,000 enterprises. They have created a market link worth 30 million bir so far.
