Four People Killed in Head-on Collision in West Shoa
ADDIS ABABA – Four people have died and 15 others injured in a two-car crash in West shoa zone of Ethiopia’s Oromia region.
The deadly head-on collision, involving FSR truck and Mini-bus, occurred in Gamo keble of Liben Jawi District at 3pm on Monday morning, said Gizachew Dama, head of the district’s traffic police office, in an interview to ENA.
The truck was going to Ejaji to Ambo Town when it collided with the Mini-Bus, heading in the opposite direction with 19 passengers on board.
Four of the passengers was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Fifteen other persons sustained various degrees of injuries in the accident.
The FSR Truck river is in custody after he gave himself over to the police.
