Abiy, Bennett Vow to Strengthen Cooperation between Ethiopia & Israel
ADDIS ABABA – Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed spoke with Isreal leader, Naftali Bennett, on Monday, vowing to strengthen the ties between the two nations.
After the conversation, Abiy said he was “pleased to have talked to Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett earlier today”.
Their conversation was focused on bilateral and multilateral issues, the prime minister said in a message posted on twitter.
“We have vowed to further strengthen cooperation between our two countries,” he added.
The two countries agreed to implement the agreements signed at various levels in the areas of agriculture, water, irrigation, health and science and technology, during Prime Minister Abiy’s visit to Israel in September, 2019.
