Ethiopia Signs Trilateral Agreement with Int’l., Chinese Atomic agencies

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia’s Ministry of Health on Friday signed a trilateral agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the China Atomic Energy Authority (CAEA).

The agreement aims to jointly implement an Extra-budgetary In-Kind Contribution for a project entitled ‘Strengthening Capabilities of Member States in Building, Strengthening and Restoring Capacities and Services in Case of Outbreaks, Emergencies and Disasters’.



“We look forward to enhance our collaboration and partnership with CAEA and IAEA in our effort to build” a resilient health system, said Dr. Lia Tadesse, Ethiopia’s health minister, after signing the agreement.
