PM Abiy Confers with Turkish President Erdoğan

ADDIS ABABA – President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia.

The call addressed Türkiye-Ethiopia relations and regional issues, Turkey’s Presidential Communications said in a brief statement issued late last night.

“Underscoring that Turkey attached great importance to Ethiopia’s serenity and stability, President Erdoğan stated that Turkey would continue to provide every kind of support to Ethiopia,” said the statement.
