PM, Leaders of Regional States Discuss ‘Geopolitical Issues’

ADDIS ABABA – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is holding discussions with governors of regional states of Ethiopia on various national and regional geopolitical issues.

The two-day long discussion, being attended by leaders of all regions and two city administration, began on Sunday morning, the PM office said.

In a tweet, Prime Minister Abiy announced the start of the meeting saying their discussion is “covering national and regional geopolitical issues”.

The meeting is expected to come up with a plan “for activities to be undertaken as a government within the next three months”, according to the PM.
