Abraham Replaces Mulu as Head of Tigray Interim Administration
ADDIS ABABA – Abraham Belay (PhD) has been appointed as Chief Executive of the Interim Administration of Ethiopia’s northern regional state of Tigray.
Abraham, who is also the President of Tigray Prosperity Party, has begun his new job as of May 6, the office of the Prime Minister said on Thursday.
He replaced Mulu Nega who will take over Abraham’s position as state minister of Innovation and Technology.
Mulu was appointed head of the federal government-appointed interim administration in November during a military offensive launched in the northern region after regional forces attacked its bases there.
