Grade 12 Exam Results to be Released within 48-hours

ADDIS ABABA – The National Educational Assessment and Examinations Agency is expected to announce the results for 2020 Grade 12 national exam within 24-hours, a top official in charge of education said on Monday.

“Marking the grade 12 national exam has already been completed,” said Getahun Mekuria, Ministry of Education, in a message posted on Twitter.

The minister said the results will officially be released either later today or tomorrow through the 8181 test message.

Officials are happy that the exam ended on time after its initial schedual revised due to COVID-19.

The exam, also known as Ethiopian University Entrance Exam, conducted earlier this month and ended on March 11, 2021.

The whole process has ended successfully and within two weeks, Minister Getahun said, attributing the accomplishment to the peace and non-interruption of the internet access during the exam period.
