Federal Police Unveil New Uniform
ADDIS ABABA – Federal Police Commission of Ethiopia on Thursday unveiled a new uniform for its members.
The change was necessitated to prevent crimes being committed by different groups using the former uniform, said Endeshaw Tasew, Commissioner General of the Federal Police Commission.
The Uniform was paraded in a program attended by Minister of peace Muferihat Kamil on Saturday.
Muferihat said the change in uniform is part of the on-going national reform process, reported the state-affiliated FBC.
It was also intended to enable members of the federal police to start the New Year with a new spirit. Ethiopia New Year begins in September.
