ADDIS ABABA – A foggy weather condition in the capital Addis Ababa has disrupted flight operations at Bole International Airport, the airlines said.
“Out of abundance of caution, Ethiopian airlines has diverted flights that were heading to Addis Ababa,” said the airlines on Tuesday.
The flights are “diverted to alternate airports due to foggy weather at bole international airports”.
Ethiopia is currently in its longest rainy season which started in June. The capital is also observing foggy weather this week affecting the operation at Addis Ababa bole international airport.
“Ethiopian Airlines apologize to its esteemed customers for the inconveniences,” it said.
