Ethiopia Reports 2 New COVID-19 Cases

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia has reported two additional cases of COVID-19 today, bringing the tally of confirmed cases to 126.

The country conducted a total of 1080 laboratory tests over the past twenty-four hours.



“Two of them are confirmed positive for COVID-19,” a respiratory disease caused by coronavirus, the Ministry of Health’s daily report claims.

Officials describe the two patients as 42-years old and 50-years old British nationals who were under mandatory quarantine.

No recovery cases have been reported by the minister of Health Dr. Lia Tadesse today.

To date, fifty patients have recovered while three Ethiopians lost their lives to the virus. The East African nation has conducted a total of 15, 668 laboratory tests.
