COVID-19: Ethiopia Confirms 8 New Cases

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia has identified eight new noble coronavirus patients today as the number of confirmed cases reach 82.

The Ministry of Health, in its daily report, indicates 447 laboratory tests have been conducted over the past twenty-four hours.

“Of these, eight individuals tested positive for coronavirus,” says the report.

The report indicates that all of the patients – two women and six men – have either travel history or contacted a COVID-19 patient.

Nationals of Eritrea, Somalia and the United Kingdom are among the newly confirmed cases. They were under mandatory quarantine upon their arrival from the United Kingdom.
