Nicaragua to Open Embassy in Addis Ababa
ADDIS ABEBA – Foreign ministers of Ethiopia and Nicaragua have discussed to increase their bilateral relations in their meeting on Tuesday.
FM Gedu Andargachew met his Nicaraguan counterpart, Denis Ronaldo Moncada, at his office, where he stressed the importance of promoting mutual interests through the spirit of South-South cooperation, according to the ministry of foreign affairs office.
During the meeting, Nicaragua’s FM disclosed his country’s decision to open an embassy in Addis Ababa, the seat of the African Union.
With the opening of the embassy, the Latin American nation plots to widen its relation, not only with Ethiopia but also with the rest of Africa.
