Cornerstone Laid for Denbi Lake Lodge in South West Region

ADDIS ABABA – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed laid a foundation stone for the development of a Denbi Lake Lodge project in the South West Ethiopia region.

It is among eight new tourism site development projects set to be executed in various parts of the country under the “Dine for Generation” initiative.

The PM laid a foundation stone for the development of Denbi Lake Lodge, during his visit to the Bench Sheko Zone on Sunday.

Midroc Ethiopia will carry out the project scheduled to be completed in a year and half period, according to the PM Office.

The site location maximizes the rich natural endowments of the area, it added.

Authorities expect the new projects would bring multifaceted socio-economic benefits to the country by helping the tourism sector to flourish.
