ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia has urged its international partners to stand with its democratic process.
In a statement Friday, the Government Communication Services (GCS) said the current administration in Ethiopia was chosen through a free and fair elections.
And “there is no equivalence between democratically elected government and terrorist groups and non-state actors that continue to cause violence and destruction across our country,” the GCS said.
The office underlined the current administration is responsibility to to secure Ethiopia and keep all its citizens safe.
“We will never waiver in that responsibility,” it said. “Our international partners must stand with Ethiopia’s democratic process”.
