Korea Finances Ethiopia’s ICT based Business Creation Effort
ADDIS ABEBA – Ministry of Finance said it has signed three financing agreements with the government of Korean that will strengthen Ethiopia’s Socio-Economic Development endeavors.
The three memorandums of understandings were signed on Thursday in Addis Ababa.
The first agreement is a project for ICT based business creation and Small and Medium Enterprise support to create quality jobs for Ethiopia for 6 years (2020-2025) budget of 10 million US dollars, According to the Ministry,
The second agreement is capacity development for TVET leaders and trainers in Ethiopia for 6 years for a total budget of 8 million US dollars.
The last agreement is to fund a project for optimizing care for newborns and children in Benishangul Gumz and Afar regions for the coming 5 years with a total budget of 9.6 million US Dollars.
