Over 800 Music Fans Enjoy ‘Musica Beyaynetu’
ADDIS ABEBA – Italian group Orchestra di Piazza di Vittorio and Melaku Belay with his Ethiocolor Band performed at the National Theatre on Tuesday, December 10th, 2019.
About 800 people music fans enjoyed the great performance of the Orchestra, which included music experimenting with new sounds involving the Ethiopian traditional instruments, rhythms and dances.
The concert, organized by the Italian Cultural Institute and the Italian Embassy in Addis Ababa, represented one of the major events of the Italian Foreign Ministry’s program “Italy, Cultures, Africa”.
It aims at valorizing the cultural exchanges between Italian and African cultures.
